The top 24 are selected.  Are any of your favorites still in? I have four casualties already.  My top 12 are (or were) David Cook, Leo Marlowe, Chikezie Eze, Danny Noriega, Josiah Leming, Michael Johns, Angela Martin, Brooke White, Amy Davis, Katie Malloy, Alexandrea Lushinton and Samantha Sibley.

Josiah was one of my favorites so I was really disappointed that he didn’t make it. A couple of my co-workers felt the same way.

Everyone thought that Leo Marlowe would definitely make it. He didn’t even make it into the top 50.  He was on so many of our lists, so that was a big surprise.

We are also wondering what happened to Samantha Sibley. Me and a couple of my co-workers loved her when she sang Norah Jones at her audition. We didn’t even catch a glimpse of her in Hollywood. If anyone knows what happened, please let us know.

I thought that Brooke White looked and sounded really good in Hollywood.  A co-worker agrees with me. Several people mentioned how much they liked David Archuletta’s performance. I would be really surprised not to see them both in the top 12. 

Another contestant who caught our eye was David Hernandez. We never saw his audition so he’s not on any of our lists but he would have been on many of ours.

I still have eight choices in the running. Most everyone who gave me picks have the majority of their choices still in. One co-worker, GT, only has 5 of her top 12 left, all girls, but has Brooke White who I think will definitely make it to the top 12. Cactus i.v. reader (LS) has the most with 10 left. The four people who only had one choice had their one choice make it in. I’ll get back to you with how well we are all doing when we get down to the top 12.

So who are on our lists? Leo Marlowe was on most of our lists and would have been our top choice if he weren’t eliminated already. Also, Angela Martin would be one of our top three choices. Our top two choices, as a group, are Brooke White with Danny Noriega coming in a close second. Tied for third are Michael Johns, Kristy Lee Cook (every boy in the 19-year-old and younger group picked her with two of them having her as their only choice), Katie Malloy and Amy Davis.

If you missed the chance to get your top 12 choices counted, you still have time (before next Tuesday’s show) to get your top 6 choices in. Your choices right now are:
