Editor-in-Chief, Music Writer [[Monday]] |
Lisa’s going to change the world one day — just give her a little more time; it’s a much harder task than she expected. She was born and raised in New York, but now lives in Pennsylvania, the home state of her favorite band: The Starting Line. Without TSL, her days might not be filled with spontaneous dancing in her apartment, blasting pop-punk as loud as her stereo [[and apartment-mates]] will let her. |
“That’s So Gay” Writer [[Monday]] |
Hey, it’s Jeremy. I’m passionate about a lot of things as a gay male, most of all www.icanhascheezburger.com and writing. I also like TV and, on occasion, people. But, seriously, I love writing and am very strong headed and feel that everyone has a voice and that should never be wasted. |
Artist [[Tuesday]] ![]() |
James has been to every state in the US besides Alaska and lived in quite a few of them. But it was in his Pennsylvania home where he picked up pinstriping and the nickname “Tattoo” — either for his permanent pictures or the fact that he’s a tattoo artist. In April 2006, he met Steve Kafka, his pinstriping hero, and has been following in his footsteps every since — accumulating cans of One Shot Paint and striping almost anything with a smooth surface. |

Ty Freer |
As a kid, Ty wanted to be in the NBA. Unfortunately, he was born a white guy, only developed a 12 inch vertical and topped out at 5-foot-11. However, he did manage to make JV All-State in basketball (or would have if such a thing existed) and was the Jerry Rice of sixth grade recess football. So rather than live the luxurious lifestyle of a pro athlete, Ty writes witty columns on all things sports-related (except for poker… Ty hates that poker is actually televised). |

Cathy S. |
Cathy S. watches a lot of reality television. But, after spending the day with preschool children, then coming home to cook and clean, there is no better way to detox than folding some laundry in front of the big screen. She has been a fan of American Idol since before Kelly Clarkson won the first crown — and she’ll be following the show long after Simon Cowell isn’t funny anymore. |

Jim Montana |
I was born in Bozeman, Montana in 1973, played high school football, went on to play some in college. I have a BA in History Education. I enjoy movies, writing and just hanging out. I am very opinionated and tell people my true thoughts. |

Andrew Steeves |
Andrew was raised loving stories in all things. While others spend all their money on booze, cigarettes and potentially cocaine, Andrew finds himself addicted to movies, books and video games. For the last year he has been performing at Milwaukee area bars as a professional storyteller, and he encourages anyone in the area who’s interested to let him know and he’ll send them a flyer. His greatest love in the world is his cat, Sgt. Kerplunkers, followed by his fiancee. |

Roxy Retail |
Roxy Retail (whose real name is withheld) lives for shopping — regardless of if it’s buying jeans in Abercrombie and Fitch, chonies in Victoria’s Secret or heels in Payless. She’ll even go out to buy motor oil, if that means dressing up for the cute auto store guy behind the counter. Stick with her, and you’ll be dressing high fashion for every date — and have enough money left in your wallet in case your date “forgets” his. |

Ben Szmanda |
Ben lives in a constant state of flux. Not trying to be cute, or funny, or anything — that’s really how it is. He’s not happy about it, but he’s also not thrilled with any number of things you don’t want to hear about. If you want to contact him to give him lots of money, and/or e-mail him Dadaist Viagra ads, try Ben Szmanda at yahoo dot com. |

Niki Answers |
Niki was born and raised in NYC and is the type of friend you call at four in the morning to talk about a bad date. She always picks up (albeit sometimes groggy), listens and gives sound advice after she brews herself a pot of coffee (and she’ll drink the whole pot if your problem takes that long to solve). Stop by her column every Saturday or drop her a line. Laying on her sofa is always free — and there are no insurance forms to fill out. A copay, though not required, is appreciated. |

Reese Wright, Jr. |
Reese is a good ol’ boy coming from the heartland of the East Texas Pineywoods. Originally from L-View, he recently moved to D-Town, still carrying on the love of the great outdoors and cars. Though much like a vehicle, there is more under the hood than on the surface for him. Now on a new adventure, he is riding in style with his foot on the gas, eyes on the stars and tearing up the highway with is faithful sidekick, Jimmy (96 GMC Jimmy 4×4). |

Lanie Pimentel |
Lanie was born and grew up in New York (and remembers e-i-c Lisa from second grade!). Two weeks after graduating college, she flew across the country to sunny California to follow her dreams of working in “the business” a.k.a. showbiz. She’s been working since the age of 14, and, even though she loves the “Hollywood” life, she is really a homebody who can’t wait to truck it in the snow back in her small town, growing tomatos and raising children one day. She also loves to cook, travel and take massive amounts of photos. |
